99 Cents Only Store Looking Into Opening on Rodeo Drive
In what will no doubt be taken as an affront to all that is obscenely overpriced and injected with silicone, the 99 Cent Only store is looking into opening up shop on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
The Huffington Post reports that the announcement was made on Tuesday, and that company president Jeff Gold believes that sales of seriously cheap items could be huge on the famous Beverly Hills street:
"We would expect that a good location on Rodeo drive could potentially be our highest sales volume store," Gold told HuffPo, "and we would certainly sell significantly more product at our 99¢ Only Stores than any other merchant on Rodeo Drive."
Gold adds that the idea is completely serious, and not meant to "prove a point."
According to its website , the company has 222 locations in California already, many of which are in the L.A. area.
