After nearly two years of non-stop, worldwide touring, including a few stops in the LA area, 30 Seconds to Mars received a hometown welcome Saturday night playing to a completely sold out Gibson Amphitheater. Frontman Jared Leto, always the showman, did not disappoint the 8000+ devoted "Echelon" fans imploring them to "reach deep and let go" and to "have the time of their lives."

Whether it was playing a mini acoustic set from the middle of the crowd or hand picking fans to come on stage for the "Kings and Queens" encore, Leto makes it priority number one to involve the fans in the show, a welcome departure from the cooly detached "rock star" mentality that some performers present on stage. The band has succeeded in developing an incredibly devoted fanbase and selling out arenas worldwide, making sure that with each show their fans are treated to a top level concert experience.
