    • LA3C Music & Food Festival, The Theatre at Ace Hotel - LA3C brings together the city's music, food and film scenes. Headliners are Erykah Badu and Herbie Hancock, but the entire lineup is fire, with Flying Lotus, Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin and Kamasi Washington among them. 
    • Night Games, The Music Center - The Music Center teams up with IndieCade, the annual celebration of independent games and developers, to bring 13 innovative games to the Jerry Moss Plaza.
    • Inglewood Open Studios and Art Walk, Inglewood - Inglewood Open Studios (IOS) is back with the 14th Annual Fall Art Walk with more than 70 artists showing work at 15 locations throughout the city.       A professional tarot reader and a comedian team up each month to read and interpret the tarot cards of audience members in Read the Room. This month, comedian Orion Levine joins reiki master and tarot reader Jovan Illa to pick out friends, family members or couples to bring to the stage to ask their questions and get answers. Read the Room takes place every second Friday of the month at 8 p.m.

      LA3C brings together the city's music, food and film scenes with events taking place in historic theaters including The Theatre at the Ace Hotel, Los Angeles Theatre, Orpheum Theatre and Palace Theatre, alongside several surrounding lots. Headliners are Erykah Badu and Herbie Hancock, but the entire lineup is fire, with Flying Lotus, Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin and Kamasi Washington among them. The Marketplace on Main, LA3C festival's outdoor culinary village, is open to all GA & VIP festival ticket holders from 3 to10 p.m. daily. If you don't want to buy music passes, this year, there's a new $20 Marketplace & Bazaar ticket, which grants access to all outdoor festival spaces and markets.

      Celebrate Veterans Day Weekend at Country Campout Weekend in Chino. There are still tickets left for the country music festival on Saturday, and attendees get access to a host of family-friendly activities including horseback riding.

      Camping may be sold out for the weekend, but there's a one-day country music festival on Saturday that features headliner Chris Janson along with Drew Baldridge, Sean Stemaly, Catie Offerman, Daniel Bonte, Presley Tennant and Joe Peters. The family-friendly event also offers activities including horseback riding, axe throwing, mechanical bull rides, and tailgating games like cornhole and horseshoes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

      NoHo’s Berman Ceramic Arts — the longest-operating ceramics studio and school in Los Angeles  holds its annual sale this weekend, featuring artworks by more than 50 local ceramists. The sale appeals to both serious collectors and holiday shoppers, offering hand-thrown functional ware (mugs, bowls, plates) to sculptural art pieces. Many of the objects are priced under $50. The artists will be on site both days to meet and chat with visitors and shoppers.

      Inglewood Open Studios (IOS) is back with the 14th Annual Fall Art Walk with more than 70 artists showing work at 15 locations throughout the city. Tour artists’ private workspaces, studios, art galleries, and cultural organizations throughout Inglewood; or attend workshops, talks, performances and family-friendly events all weekend. Nearly 50 percent of the artists who have signed up to participate in the art walk are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) creators. Additionally, more than half of the artists are women, bringing women and BIPOC artists to the forefront of the open studios and art walk. Free shuttle service is provided by the city of Inglewood. Park and ride from the Beacon Building, 808 N. La Brea Ave., Inglewood (enter the lot on La Brea).

      Vulture Festival is returns for its 10th year with a weekend of pop culture events, bringing fans together with comedians, authors and actors in conversation, screenings, sing-alongs and a few surprises. The lineup gets creative, especially with the ongoing actors' strike: Take an acting class with Henry Winkler, sing holiday tunes with Matt Rogers, hurl superlatives with Weird Al, talk art with Sharon Stone and Jerry Saltz, and watch as Billy Porter receives Vulture’s Honorary Degree.

      LACMA debuts Vincent Valdez’s oil painting El Chavez Ravine (2005–2007), which was recently added to the museum’s permanent collection through a gift from musician Ry Cooder. Painted on a 1953 Chevrolet ice cream truck, the work is a "mobile monument to the predominantly Mexican American community that was forcibly removed from Los Angeles’s Chavez Ravine to make way for the construction of Dodger Stadium in the late 1950s." Valdez's work is influenced by Mexican and American muralism.

      Zócalo and its community partners throw a dance party that's emblematic of L.A.'s kaleidoscopic culture: "What does a diaspora move to, and what moves a diaspora? Which songs resonate with Belizeans from South L.A., South Indians from Cerritos, Arab Americans from Anaheim? Which Sublime song do zacatecanos in SoCal know all the lyrics to? Is Cher queen supreme in the Armenian communities of Glendale? And is Celine Dion fated to live on and on in every diaspora’s heart?" In addition to dancing, check out art activities by LA Commons and a pop-up Wilmington Art Walk. The first 100 guests to check in and get a wristband receive free food from local vendors Patties N Tingz, Dip Deez Paletas, L.A. Waterfront Pizza, The Atomic Cafe, and Shamrock Seafood/San Pedro Fish Market. Setting the sonic landscape are DJs Mario “Dred” Lopez from 4 to 5 p.m. and Raul Campos from 5 to 7 p.m.

The games are showcased as part of IndieCade’s signature event, Night Games, and include an interactive game involving themes of East Asian rituals, the world’s only 10-player stand-up arcade and a musical journey through five interactive music videos from Indie Pop band OFK.

      Love & Salt in Manhattan Beach marks its 9th anniversary with a series of special Sunday supper menus crafted by chef Jeffrey Hayden. The series kicks off this weekend with a tasting trip to Sicily. The four-course, family-style dinner starts with Palermo street food (scaccia, arancini, panelle), followed by pasta alla norma, and pesce spada Siciliana (grilled swordfish).
