Octomom Extends Her Stay in Rehab
Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. Octomom, checked herself into rehab at the end of October to treat a reported addiction to Xanax. Now, the infamous mother of 14 has announced through her reps that she'll be staying at the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center, which has locations in Orange and Tustin, for another 30 days.
RumorFix, which got the exclusive scoop on the story, reports that Suleman will begin going home for three days a week to visit with her kids, then will return to the center.
“Nadya’s first visit home will be Thanksgiving Day," said the rep. "She is looking forward to being home and spending time with the kids for Thanksgiving."
Suleman left her kids in the care of three nannies and two friends in order to begin her stint at Chapman. She had been taking anti-anxiety pills in order to deal with the stress of her life, and now wants to wean her way off of them.
