Mobile Clubbing Coming to a Subway Station Near You

Mobile Clubbing in HollywoodUPDATE!!! The event has moved to in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Check Facebook for updated details.

Coming on the heels of the announcement for Los Angeles' participation in World Pillow Fight Day scheduled for Saturday March 22 downtown, there's yet another spectacle of an event planned for the night before at Hollywood and Highland, sans bouncers and lines to wait in (h/t again to Bored-LA).

According to the Facebook page, at 10:00 p.m. on Friday March 21st, mobile clubbers armed with earphones and their music player of choice will meet at the Hollywood and Highland Metro Red Line station. Then, all at once, everyone will start dancing, eventually grooving onto the next train to the next station and so on. There's no mention of buying yourself a Metro Day Pass ($5), but we would recommend that as each boarding requires a ticket; otherwise, Los Angeles County Sheriffs, aka the bouncers, will be forcing you to pay one of the higher door club door fees there is (easily at least $75, coulc be $100 or more). And we rather you save your money for the Doheny where the club application costs you a mere $4,950 to gain access.

Here's a video from Liverpool a couple years back.

I highly recommend you check out the MP3 Experiment by Improv Everywhere. They've done four installments, and the latest one was the greatest:
