Hooters for everyone!
Ten runs + a win = 10 free wings at Hooters. I don't care about a 124 year old franchise getting 10,000 losses. Really I'm more impressed that the franchise is 124 years old. I do care that they gave us all 10 free wings at Hooters. Woo HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTERS!
Last night's game was one of the most fun games of the season thus far. Taking an early lead and running with it took the pressure off. Monday night games tend to have good fans and lots of cheering. There wasa nice sunset. Kemp and Kent hit 3 run homers. What could be more fun?
Juan Pierre was walking all over the Phillies' geriatric pitcher. I felt a little bad, as the poor guy's reflexes couldn't keep up with Pierre's base stealing speed. Okay, I didn't feel bad at all. But maybe I should.
Penny's blister is looking much better, he went 7 innings and gave up only one run.
Even Nomar got 2 hits!
Matt Kemp, who I adore after his nice-ness in Arizona, hit a nice 3 run homer over the center field wall.
Then I got into a fight with a parking attendant... more on that later...
