The New Book Night Draws Near: Iraq’s People In The Shadow Of America’s War
We hear daily reports of the violence in Iraq but little about how average Iraqis continue to live through the conflict. Pulitzer Prize winning Washington Post reporter, Anthony Shadid, has been in Iraq since the beginning of the war. Larry talks with him about his new book, Night Draws Near: Iraq’s People in the Shadow of America’s War, the story of how ordinary Iraqis endure the tragedy of war in their homeland.
