On Wednesday, in a Sacramento courtroom, activists requested an injunction against the Secretary of State Kevin Shelley and the registrars of eighteen California counties using electronic voting machines. The request was rejected, but a lawsuit regarding the security of Diebold touch screen voting machines is ongoing.
