Remembering Ed McMahon
Ed McMahon, known for his role as Johnny Carson's sidekick on the "Tonight Show" and the trademark opener "Here's Johnny!", has died at 86. McMahon had been hospitalized for several medical conditions and passed away shortly after midnight at the Ronald Reagan/UCLA Medical Center, according to his publicist. McMahon hosted several television shows such as "Star Search", and most recently spoofed his financial troubles in a Super Bowl commercial with MC Hammer. Yet, Ed McMahon will always be remembered for being Johnny Carson's loyal second banana on the "Tonight Show." Guest host David Lazarus remembers Ed McMahon with listeners.
