Tonight local indie rockers the Voyeurs will be ringing in their debut full-length at the Echo with LAist favorites the Monolators (LAist Review, #2), Go West Young Man and Les Blanks. Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter Sara Lov will be concluding her month-long residency at Spaceland with B.R.A.M. Rainbow^Arabia are slated to perform at the Airliner with Hecuba and We Are The World. And, lastly, the little Brooklyn-based indie rock outfit that could, otherwise known as the Honorary Title, will be headlining the Hotel Café. But we strongly suggest catching either one of Metronomy's (LAist Review) performances tonight. The exemplary English electro-pop trio will be thumping out a steady stream of synth lines and beats at both Temporary Spaces and Cinespace.

Tonight 17-year-old Australian singer-songwriter sensation Gabriella Cilmi will be performing at the Hotel Café. English psych rocker Pop Levi will be rocking out at the Echoplex for 826LA's Tiny Vaudeville. And all three free Monday Night Residencies, which have simply dominated Silver Lake and Echo Park for the past month, will be coming to a conclusion. Local singer-songwriter Rocco Deluca (LAist Interview, Review) is slated to play his final show at Spaceland with LAist favorites Marvelous Toy. Echo Park's own alt-rockers Olin & the Moon (LAist Interview) will be concluding their stint at the Silver Lake Lounge with Evan Way (of the Parson Red Heads) and Taylor Goldsmith (of Dawes). But we insist that you head over to the Echo to catch Robert Francis (LAist Interview, Review), who will be closing up shop with Austin-based folk rockers Peter and the Wolf.

Are you one of those festival-goers who complains about the exorbitant price of tickets these days? Well, the fine folks at Coachella have designed a plan with the current economic downturn in mind. According to an article published earlier today by USA Today, tickets for this year's festival will be offered in a variety of payment methods. Aside from paying all $269 up front, fans will be able to "pay half down and the rest April 1, or pay 10% followed by equal installments on March 1 and April 1 without interest or additional fees." These proposed price-sensitive "layaway" plans will be sold solely via the internet and they will not be available for $99 single-day admission. So now there should be less deterrence when it comes to forking over your hard-earned cash.

Tonight ambient rockers Voices Voices will be performing at the Viper Room with Pop Noir. The football helmet-clad experimental electro outfit known as Anavan will be rocking out at the Echo for this week's edition of Part Time Punks. And, lastly, LA-based indie rockers Divisadero are playing with Daniel Brummel (of Ozma) at All Star Lanes in Eagle Rock for the Bowling & Drinking Club. But we strongly suggest spending the day in the Downtown Area. Around mid-day, in what will be touted as one of its best shows of the year, the Smell is hosting a prominent array of noisy locals, such as No Age (LAist Review, #2, #3), Mika Miko (LAist Review) and Abe Vigoda. And later on in the evening, funk and soul maestros Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings (LAist Review, #2) will be headlining Club Nokia. Neither event should be missed!

Tonight, if all goes according to planned, Animal Collective (LAist Review) will be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Troubadour—health permitting, of course. Yes, the line-up is inherently inferior to last night's canceled concert. But word on the street is that Friday night's show will be rescheduled for Sunday. Minneapolis-based indie rockers Tapes n' Tapes will take on the El Rey Theatre with Wild Light, who are still tightly clutching their memories of supporting the Arcade Fire way back when. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Henry Fonda Music Box to catch Danish rock duo the Raveonettes, who are slated to headline with none other than LAist favorites the Soft Pack (formerly known as the Muslims) in tow.

Earlier in the day, an independent confirmation of multiple Grammy Award- winning English singer-songwriter Sir Paul McCartney playing Coachella surfaced on music website Consequence of Sound. The aforementioned website recently provided a substantial glimpse (now totaling some 36 "rumored" artists) into what is shaping up to be the hottest festival this year. And although McCartney is expected to cycle through his usual bevy of hits, it's safe to say that his performance will focus primarily upon 2008's Electric Arguments, the third collaborative electronic effort with producer Youth under the moniker the Fireman. Expect an official line-up announcement straight from the horse's mouth in the coming days.

Tonight Maryland-based jam band O.A.R. will be performing at Club Nokia in Downtown. Local producer/musician extraordinaire Jon Brion (LAist Review) is set to pal around with his musical cronies at Largo at the Coronet. Baltimore-based avant-gardists Animal Collective (LAist Review) are headlining a sold-out show at the Henry Fonda Music Box. (Canceled due to a band member's illness!) Memphis' own prolific punk rocker Jay Reatard will be coming through the Echo. But we strongly suggest figuring out a way into the Troubadour, where Department of Eagles are slated play to a sold-out house. Seattle-based folk maestros the Cave Singers will be kicking off the show.

Tonight Northampton-bred power pop act Fountains of Wayne (LAist Interview) will be concluding their two-night acoustic stint at Largo at the Coronet. Montreal-based electro pop duo Chromeo (LAist Review) are poised to play to a sold-out show at the Keyclub, just before heading into the studio. We're also just getting word that Chromeo has been added to the Love Grenades' show at the Roxy with Sam Sparro. And speaking of duos, experimental two-man band El Ten Eleven will be playing at the Silver Lake Lounge with Creedle, which features Pinback front man Rob Crow. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch the final duo we'll speak of, Brooklyn's own experimental rockers High Places. LA locals Hecuba are slated to open to the show.

Tonight LAist's favorite English electro-pop outfit Metronomy (LAist Review) will be headlining the El Rey Theatre with local experimental rockers the Mae Shi (LAist Interview, Review, #2) in tow. LA-based garage rockers the Ettes are coming through Spaceland with the Useless Keys for this week's edition of Club NME. Local indie rockers Army Navy (LAist Interview, #2, Review) will be rocking out for Obama at the Rock the Vote's Inaugural Bash at the Troubadour. And, lastly, Seattle-based experimental electronic quartet Truckasauras are making their LA debut at Boardner's. But we suggest you head over to Largo at the Coronet to catch Northampton-bred power pop act Fountains of Wayne (LAist Interview).

Tonight NY-based indie rockers the Walkmen will be performing at the Henry Fonda Music Box with Baltimore's lugubrious duo Beach House. LA's own indie pop duo Castledoor (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) is playing at the Echoplex for this week's edition of Check One, Twosday, which is still being sponsored by the now-defunct radio station Indie 103.1. Sean Carlson (of the Fuck Yeah Fest) is throwing a psych rock frenzy at the Smell, including performances by Long Beach-based Crystal Antlers and Ancestors. And, lastly, the one-woman army, otherwise known as Theresa Andersson (LAist Interview, Review), will be gracing the Hotel Café. But we strongly suggest checking into Spaceland, where Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter Sara Lov will be stopping through for the penultimate date of her month-long residency. LAist favorite Willoughby (LAist Review, #2) is slated to open.
