Tonight LA-based buzz band the Airborne Toxic Event (LAist Interview, #2, Review, #2, #3, #4, #5) will be headlining the Henry Fonda Music Box. Local indie rockers Lemon Sun will be ringing in their latest effort at the Troubadour with a handful of great bands, including Voxhaul Broadcast, Rumspringa and Restavrant. And, lastly, experimental instrumentalist Bobb Bruno will be playing the Smell in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch fringe rockers the Movies (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4). LAist favorites Crooked Cowboy & the Freshwater Indians are slated to kick off the show.

Tonight Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Cat Power will be concluding a two-night stint at the Avalon with local psych-rockers the Entrance Band. Suffolk's own metal heads Cradle of Filth are slated to rock the Henry Fonda Music Box. And, lastly, Dhani Harrison's thenewno2 will be performing at the Key Club. But today marks the 3 year anniversary of famed hip hop producer/DJ J Dilla's untimely death. We strongly suggest heading over to Amoeba Records on Sunset to commemorate his wondrous life with the beats of his younger brother Illa J. Raise it up for Ma Dukes!

San Franciscan singer-songwriter Miranda Lee Richards is poised to grace the stage at Spaceland. Heavy crooner Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli will be playing the Troubadour, presumably under the Twilight Singers moniker. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch local pop rock outfit the Parson Red Heads. LA's own indie rockers the French Semester and Light FM will be kicking off the show.

LA-based indie rock outfit Le Switch are continuing their residency at Spaceland. And, lastly, the Rhone Occupation will be rocking out at the Airliner. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Silver Lake Lounge to catch the second night of Local Natives' month-long residency.

LA-based pop singer-songwriter/producer extraordinaire Ne-Yo is poised to perform the second sold-out night of his two-date stint at Club Nokia. Prolific Bay Area punk rockers NOFX will be concluding a non-consecutive three-date stint at the Henry Fonda Music Box. And speaking of punk rock outfits, Long Beach's own TSOL are slated to annihilate onlookers at the Echoplex. But we strongly suggest heading over to Home Restaurant in Silverlake to catch jazz-infused pop duo Alex & Sam (LAist Interview, Review).

Grammy Award-winning Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland is poised to rock the Henry Fonda Music Box with the Colour Turning. Fiction Family (LAist Interview), a collaborative project between Nickel Creek guitarist Sean Watkins and Switchfoot front man Jon Foreman, will be gracing the Largo at the Coronet. Alabama-bred country singer-songwriter Charlie Louvin is slated to headline Spaceland with none other than Mike Stinson in tow. And, lastly, Charlotte's own genre-crossing singer-songwriter Benji Hughes will be performing at Home Restaurant in Silverlake. But we strongly suggest heading over the hold-and-corner Pehrspace to experience Fol Chen's record release extravaganza. Karin Tatoyan and Avi Buffalo are slated to kick off the show.

Toronto's own raucous punk outfit Fucked Up are slated to headline the Echoplex with LA locals Mika Miko. LA-based indie rockers Oliver Future will be gracing Spaceland. And, lastly, English rapper Lady Sovereign is poised to flow at the Echo. But we insist that you head over to the Museum of Natural History to catch the second edition of First Fridays. Acclaimed indie-pop duo the Bird and the Bee will be accompanied by D.C.-bred indie rockers Jukebox the Ghost.

OC-based pop punk outfit Circa Survive are poised to play to a sold-out crowd at the Troubadour. Echo Park's own indie rockers Iglu & Hartly will be coming through the Viper Room. And, lastly, D.C.-bred indie rockers Jukebox the Ghost will be joined by the Voyeurs at Three Clubs in Hollyweird. But we strongly suggest that you head over to the Hotel Café to catch local experimental instrumental duo El Ten Eleven.

LAist favorites the Soft Pack (formerly known as the Muslims) are slated to rock with San Diegan garage rock outfit Crocodiles at the Echo early on in the night. English electro-pop sensation Little Boots will be gracing the stage at Spaceland. And, lastly, local indie rockers Castledoor (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) are poised to play Bordello. But we strongly suggest stopping by the Silver Lake Lounge to see electro-pop songstress Glasser.
