A suspected OC drug dealer has turned the tables on the Sheriff's Department, taking them to court in a lawsuit over an alleged 2009 beating, reports KCBS. Derek Salazar claims that he was beaten by five OC deputies after having been arrested for felony drug charges, while he was waiting to stand trial.

The LA County Board of Supervisors are really pissed that someone shot a known pot dealer -- so much so that they're offered a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to a conviction. The Long Beach Press-Telegram reports that Supervisor Don Knabe hopes the money will entice reluctant witnesses to break their silence on the murder of Philip Williamson, 29, in Long Beach on March 24.
