Police are looking for two men who robbed three teenagers and sexually assaulted a fourth as the victims walked home from Los Alamitos High School yesterday. The two men, who are described as African-American and in their 20s, started their crime spree at about 2:45 p.m. by walking up to a 15-year-old boy, pretending to have a weapon, and then demanding his cell phone.

A man's body was found last night on a divider on the 5 Freeway in Sylmar near the 14 Freeway, and officials believe his death may have been the result of a suicide. City News Service reports that he was hit by a big rig at about 10:45 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Scott Dekraai, the 42-year-old Orange County man who's accused of shooting up a Seal Beach salon last October and killing eight people, plead not guilty today on eight counts of murder. City News Service reports that a grand jury indicted Dekraai yesterday, which prosecutors sought in order to expedite the trial. A pretrial hearing has been set for January 27.

Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the January 11 murder of 17-year-old Francisco Javier Rodriguez Jr. of Winnetka. The LAPD announced the arrest earlier today, and will release more details later this afternoon.
