The body of a woman who had been recently reported missing by her husband was discovered in the trunk of her own car in Irvine last night.

The LAPD is investigating a series of death threats made against Ellen Page that came through Twitter and calls to the L.A. Film Festival. The death threats started this June around the time that Page's latest film "To Rome With Love" premiered at the L.A. Film Festival.

Police are looking for the speeding driver of a pick-up truck who hit a cyclist just south of downtown and then fled the scene. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital, but he has serious head trauma.
