Three bus drivers in San Diego called in for replacements last Sunday after they reported feeling "dizzy." A better word for their state of mind, however, might be "totally blazed." That's because an employee of the city's Metropolitan Transit System is alleging that all three drivers ate pot brownies that were given to them by another employee.

The Lakers are finally erecting a statue of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar that he's wanted for so long. On November 16, the Lakers and STAPLES Center will unveil a statue of Abdul-Jabbar at Star Plaza, according to a release from the Lakers.

The wife of a Marine in San Diego was strangled after she refused to refused to participate in sex games with another Marine and two women, investigators say. Brittany Killgore, 22, was found strangled and dumped in a ditch this April. Now court documents have been filed that shed light on what investigators believe happened in her final hours.

A mother and her two kids were stabbed to death early this morning inside their Riverside home by a man believed to be the mother's estranged boyfriend. Later, the suspect was shot in a confrontation with police in Corona.

The search for the first-ever male model on "The Price Is Right" commenced today. The competition will be put up on YouTube next month, and the public will get a chance to pick the winner from the top six models from today's open casting call. The winner will be on the show for a mere week.

Hate crimes in Orange County jumped 14 percent last year after it going down four years in a row, according to an annual report from OC Human Relations. In 2011, there were 64 documented hate crimes reported, which is up from 56 in 2010. But 2011 still had fewer reported hate crimes than 2009 (77) or 2008 (101).

A 70-year-old tennis umpire pleaded not guilty today to bludgeoning her husband to death with a coffee cup at their Woodland Hills home before running off to get her nails done. Lois Goodman was arrested in Manhattan last week where she was planning to act as a referee matches at the U.S. Open.
