It's not always obvious just how terrible a job is going to be at first, but some employers do their prospective employees a favor by letting them know right off the bat just how soul-crushing life at their company will be in their want ad. This ad on Craiglist searching for an "amazing" personal assistant for a "small growing business" in the San Fernando leaves little to the imagination with its 38—count 'em, 38—bullet points.

This Saturday was the last day that Henry's Tacos served at the taco stand where it has stood for 51 years. An LAist reader took a picture of the stand the night it shut down, and then returned the next day to photograph it without its iconic Googie sign.

The Hollywood fetish filmmaker and self-proclaimed "shock artist" Ira Isaacs has been sentenced to four years in prison in a long-running federal obscenity case that ended in mistrial twice before he was convicted. Isaacs, 62, was convicted of violating federal obscenity laws for his films depicting bestiality and fetishes that involved poop and bestiality last April.

A probe has been launched to investigate whether a female deputy was the victim of sexual misconduct by three top officials in the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. One of the accused officials will resign from his position, it was announced today. The female deputy is the daughter of a top aide to the sheriff.
