Los Angeles firefighters rescued a man and his dog who survived after tumbling 150 feet down a steep cliff in Lake View Terrace this afternoon. The 19-year-old man had been hiking with his father who tossed a bottle off the trail in the Valley. The dog went after the bottle and the man went after the dog and both of them tumbled down the hill.

The Orange County DA's office has charged a man with murdering his wife on Christmas. William Wallace, 30, of Anaheim has been charged with beating his wife 26-year-old Zazell Preston to death
