SUV Hit Cyclist, Dragged Him and Left Him to Die

Police are looking for the driver of an SUV that hit a cyclist, dragged him and left him to die in Pomona last night.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was riding on Sixth Street in Pomona and crossing Towne Avenue around 5:30 pm , when he was hit by an SUV heading northbound, according to City News Service. The SUV, which witnesses describe as a green Dodge or Chrysler, then proceeded to drag the cyclist before taking off, according to ABC 7. The cyclist died at the scene.

Anyone with information on the accident was urged to call the Pomona Police Department's Traffic Division at (909) 620-2081.
