LAPD is asking the public to help identify two suspects involved in two separate Bank of America burglaries in Hollywood and West Valley. The first robbery took place between November 13th between 7:15 p.m. and November 15th at 8:15 a.m. when suspects pried open the door of a Bank of America located in the 18300 block of Ventura Blvd and took property and money.

Lifeguards in Newport Beach are warning beach goers not to dig big holes in the sand after a child was almost buried alive, according to the Daily Pilot. On-duty guards encountered a young boy pulling his friend out of a 10 ft x 2 ft sand tunnel that was built at a 25-degree downward angle. The tunnel collapsed around the child during the rescue effort but guards were able to yank him from the sand in time.

Star Wagon foodies watch-out! While the food truck health rating system has won wide support from food-truck-following Angelenos all over, the letter grades have film set catering trucks in a tizzy, according to the Daily News. The entertainment industry is urging Councilman Tom LaBonge to exempt on-set catering trucks because they don't sell food directly to the public and are thus, different enough to be outside the letter grade law.
