George Lopez announced yesterday on Good Day L.A. that he wants to run for Mayor of Los Angeles in 2018. He said that although he might not pass the background check at the moment, he didn't see any reason why he couldn't ultimately become mayor if Arnold Schwarzenegger could become California's Governor. President Obama signed a bill today that makes the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy a thing of the past for gays in the military, according to the LA Times.
