A young couple and their two-month-old daughter were killed last night after their car rolled over several times on the 710 freeway, coming to a stop on the Union Pacific train tracks.

The accident was reported just before 11:00 p.m., according to City News Service. The baby's mother, a 19-year-old woman who hasn't been identified pending the notification of her relatives, was driving the 2001 Ford Explorer when she lost control of it for reasons that aren't clear, and swerved to the right.

Her daughter, Sophia Gutierrez, and the baby's father, 20-year-old Abel Israel Gutierrez, were killed at the scene. The mother was taken to a trauma center where she was pronounced dead.

Firefighters who arrived at the accident needed 25 minutes to cut the victims out of the car.
