Transgender Woman Fatally Shot On Skid Row
A transgender woman was fatally shot on Skid Row today during a possible domestic dispute. The shooting took place today at about 1:20 p.m. near East 5th Ave. and South San Pedro St., ABC 7 reports. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A handgun was also found at the scene.
The alleged shooter, who is described as a man in his 20s, was detained by a nearby security guard until police showed up and arrested him. LAPD Officer Tony Im said the man was possibly in a domestic argument with the woman, according to the L.A. Times.
