A whale out in the waters off Newport Beach was recently spotted shooting out rainbows out of its blowhole—like a Care Bear! Well, sort of.

Photographer Mark Girardeau captured this perfect moment on a drone on July 5. He was on a boat driven by his buddy Royce Hutain about two miles off the coast of Newport Beach. In the clip, a humpback whale is swimming in the waters when it shoots water out of its blowhole, hitting the sunlight and making a rainbow. The real action happens at the 0:39-minute mark.

Apparently, it's not that uncommon to see this as Hutain told the Huffington Post that they saw several rainbows coming out of whales that day. "It's really not that rare to see but the way it appears to come out of the blowhole and the angle of the shot make it extra special," Hutain said. "Also this is clearly a magic whale with special powers."
