Video: Road-Raging Chauffeur Attacks Driver After Exiting The 405

A chauffeur was caught on video getting out of his limo, taking something out of his trunk and then taking a swing at another driver's window in an apparent road rage attack.

Shahnam Asbaghi, the object of the chauffeur's rage, managed to record the attack that he shared with KTLA. He escaped unscathed.

The chauffeur in a limousine Yukon was tail-gating him around 1:27 p.m. yesterday on the Northbound 405 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Times. Asbaghi got nervous, so he exited the freeway but the chauffeur followed him off and ended up rear-ending him.

"When I exited, he just rammed me with his car at probably 25, 30 miles per hour," he told KTLA. "When he hit me he got out of his car, came around to the driver's side and punched my window four or five times. Then he ran back to his car, got in his car, and drove away."

Asbaghi followed the driver so he could get his license plate number, but things only escalated. The limo driver stopped and confronted him at Sepulveda Boulevard and Sherman Way, and that's when Asbaghi pulled out his cell and started recording. He says he saw the driver pull out a crow bar, though it's not clear if that's the object that he hit the window with.

LAPD is investigating the incident, and the man in the video has been fired, according to LA Private Car Service. (His name hasn't been released.)
