'True Blood' Houses Face Fiery Death
A set of Eagle Rock properties that are used as part of the set for "True Blood" is slated to be burned for an episode in season four, according to Eagle Rock Patch:
...bungalows on the property are being equipped with gas canisters attached to their front windows—to give the appearance that an entire structure is being consumed in flames. In reality, only the front of each house will be ignited by the controlled burn, but it will result in the total obliteration of these structures.
On the show, Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) serves as landlord for the houses, which have been home to Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) and now-deceased Dawn Green (Lynn Collins).
In real life, Patch reports that the burning will serve as an efficient way for the owner of the properties to clear the lot and still profit form the location, and it's unknown what will be built in its place.
Here's hoping it's another place for the characters to live...poor Arlene...
