It may not be the Trader Joe's that downtowners have been longing for, but the new Trader Joe's planned for the USC Village is relatively close. The 12,700-square-foot grocery store will be located at 3131 S. Hoover Street, Downtown News reports, within the USC Village.

The USC Village is a planned $650 million, 15-acre development that will include housing, green space, restaurants and retail. While very much affiliated with USC, many of the amenities it holds will be available to the public during between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., Huffington Post reports.

It was known that there would be a grocery store in the Village, but it was only announced that it would be a TJ's this week.
