Soak up killer views of the Hollywood hills while sipping craft Tiki cocktails at one of L.A.'s coolest new rooftop bars.

The rooftop bar of E.P. & L.P.—Hollywood's newest multi-level dining and drinking destination—will host a one-night-only Tiki bar takeover featuring bartenders from Chicago's renowned Lost Lake. On Monday, August 10, head to Frankie's Private Bar within the L.P. rooftop space to sample creative, Polynesian-inspired craft cocktails perfect for cooling off on a hot summer night. The evening will kick off with a monthly guest bartender series at the bar, which will feature expert mixologists from far and wide, including Miami, Sweden and more.

Monday night's Tiki takeover will feature refreshing tropical blends from Chicago bar Lost Lake's beverage director and partner Paul McGee, and head bartender Erin Hayes, who have helped to launch Chicago's recent tiki bar revival. The drinks they will be mixing up have been kept under wraps, but you can likely expect plenty of top-shelf rums and whiskeys, expertly balanced with passion fruit, coconut, orgeat and other bold Tiki flavors. There will also be small modern Asian street food bites available to soak up all of the potent potions you sample.

E.P. & L.P.'s in-house Beverage Director Alex Straus, explains his vision for launching the monthly bar takeover series featuring top-notch bartenders from around the globe, "We are building an incubator where people can learn from great artists who are showcasing new and distinctive bartending styles."

Frankie's Private Bar is located on the rooftop of E.P. & L.P., 603 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, (310) 855-9955. The Lost Lake bar takeover will take place on Monday, August 10 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. For the next takeovers in the monthly series, keep an eye on their social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter.
