Officials said that the girl was angry because of her mom's rules, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The mother called the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department early Tuesday morning and said that she was attacked by her daughter.

Neigbor Kaylee Alvarez said that she heard fighting the night it happened. The mother told Alvarez at an earlier time that she feared for her life and noticed that there were some knives missing, according to CBS Los Angeles.
