13-Year-Old Girl Arrested For Allegedly Plotting to Kill Her Mother
A 13-year-old girl from Hesperia and two of her friends were arrested yesterday for allegedly plotting to kill her mother.
Officials said that the girl was angry because of her mom's rules, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The mother called the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department early Tuesday morning and said that she was attacked by her daughter.
Neigbor Kaylee Alvarez said that she heard fighting the night it happened. The mother told Alvarez at an earlier time that she feared for her life and noticed that there were some knives missing, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The alleged murder plot was carried out with with two other juveniles, identified as a 14-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, according to the reports.
Authorities arrested the teenagers on suspicion of attempted murder and are holding them at the Apple Valley Juvenile Detention Facility.
The teens reportedly used three different means of attack, which weren't disclosed pending the investigation. The mother was injured but did not need medical treatment.
