SWAT Team Uses Tear Gas, Stun Gun to Stop Suicidal Man

A suicidal Lake View man barricaded himself in his home last night and was ultimately extricated by a SWAT team, reports City News Service.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, was wielding a knife when the team entered the residence on the 11800 block of Foothill Boulevard and used tear gas and a stun gun to subdue him.
The incident happened at about 6:44 p.m. No one was hurt, and the man is being held for evaluation at a local hospital.
