Stars, They're Just Like Us: Mitt Romney Shops at Costco
Mitt Romney -- he of the brand new Audi to drown his presidential loss-related sorrows -- was spotted recently at a Costco in La Jolla, stocking up on paper towels and toys.
TMZ reports that one of the items seen in Romney's cart was manufactured in China (gasp!), which the gossip site delights in noting goes against the platform he presented while running for office:
Besides the paper plates, dixie cups, wrapping paper, V8 juice drinks, pretzel snacks, Bisquick and bottled water ... Mitt and his wife Ann also purchased a model car made by the Maisto company (probably a gift for one of his 18 grandkids ... sorry for spoiling Xmas)... Of course, Mitt railed against China during his bid for the presidency ... claiming the country is manipulating currency and stealing American manufacturing jobs.
