Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred just after 8 p.m. outside of Paramount Studios in East Hollywood.

A 15-year-old boy and a man in his mid-to-late-20s were both wounded and taken to a hospital, according to City News Service. The teenager was shot in the arm and the adult was wounded in the stomach.

The incident occurred at the corner of Van Ness and Lemon Grove avenues, near the Lemon Grove Gate entrance to the studio. LAPD Officer Mike Lopez told LAist that the incident "doesn't have anything to do with the studio."

Lopez also said that the shooting was "possibly gang-related." No information on suspects is yet available.
