San Pedro Man Catches Neighbor Having Sex With His Dog

In this dispatch from the "Oh my God this is totally gross what is happening" department, a San Pedro man who put up surveillance cameras to catch burglars stumbled upon something infinitely more awful: a neighbor had been breaking into the man's backyard to have sex with his dog.

The unidentified homeowner told the Daily Breeze that he initially feared a prowler was in his yard after finding evidence of a break-in and "a huge yelp-like shriek like she had never made before" from his Akita. After finding tufts of hair strewn about the backyard and a cellphone lying nearby, the man set up a surveillance camera in an effort to catch the burglar in the act.

What he found shocked him: the 22-year-old grandson of a neighbor had been sneaking into the backyard, feeding the dog something to make it relax, and having sex with it for hours.

"It's inhumane. I don't even know what to say about it," the homeowner told The Daily Breeze. "I had never even thought of something like that happening. I know his grandmother very well. She has three little dogs."

The dog was rushed to a local vet, where she underwent treatment for sensitivity and was released, the Daily Breeze reports. The suspect was arrested after the homeowner turned the video footage over to the police. He is currently being held on suspicion of burglary and his bail has been set at $50,000.
