Ruling Expected Today on Prop 8
The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is expected to hand down a ruling this morning on the constitutionality of Proposition 8, reports L.A. Now.
The decision will be announced online, and several press conferences are planned around town -- the Mayor of West Hollywood will address the public at 10:30, and the lawyers representing the opposition to Prop 8 will speak to the press downtown following the ruling.
Oral arguments for and against Proposition 8 were heard by the court over a year ago.
