Rachael Yamagata @ Hotel Cafe, 3/18/08

We need to hear from you.
Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

Last Tuesday, singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata (MySpace) performed two sold-out shows at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood.

A former Hotel Cafe Tour alumnus, Yamagata's appearance there two years ago drew fans from all over Southern California, and these shows were no different, with fans lining up hours in advance for her 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM shows. And since her upcoming two week tour in mid-April takes her to the Midwest and East Coast as well as Canada, this was perhaps the one opportunity to see her locally in the forseeable future.

Special thanks to Rachael Yamagata and Hotel Cafe.
