Final 2024 Primary Results: Proposition 1

Proposition 1 was a measure on the March ballot. It shifts much of California’s millionaires tax for mental health services towards housing for people with mental illness. It also approved a nearly $6.4 billion bond to add more beds in psychiatric facilities as well as supportive housing.

  • The California Secretary of State's Office certified the final vote tallies on April 12, marking an official end to the March 5, 2024 Primary Election.
