A few "bad apples" on the Glendale PD were taken off duty recently and put on administrative leave, and now the LA Times has published some details regarding the cases that led to their removal from their posts.

Among the four incidents cited as cause for further investigation are a holiday road trip to Las Vegas in a police vehicle, and an incident of off-duty road rage in Burbank, for which Glendale Officer Eric Ritter has already been charged. "One case dates back two years and involves an officer alleged to have had a sexual relationship with the estranged wife of a man who was a suspect in a criminal investigation," adds the Times.

Glendale PD's chief, Ron De Pompa has a "zero-tolerance" policy for police misconduct. The investigations remain internal, and the Glendale PD is not offering up further information about the cases or the personnel involved.
