Celebrity Trainer Threatened By Paparazzi Grabs Photog By The Throat

If you're going to threaten someone, it seems like a personal trainer who makes a living whipping celebrities into shape is one of your least wise choices. Harley Pasternak is the personal trainer for Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Usher, among others. The media got a tip that Pasternak was going to be training Twilight star Robert Pattinson and flocked to his home Sunday, TMZ reports.

Pasternak told the paparazzi that Pattinson wouldn’t be coming over, but they refused to listen. When Pasternak ordered them to leave, one photographer allegedly said, “I’m gonna kill you and your family.”

Pasternak said the photographer then reached for something in car and, afraid it was some kind of weapon, sprung into action. TMZ has a photo of him putting the guy in a chokehold.

The photographer claimed that he never threatened Pasternak, but was indeed reaching for pepper spray in response to the trainer attempting to pull the hub cabs off his car like some kind of hulk. However, a neighbor defended Pasternak, saying she heard the threat.

The photographer was arrested.
