From Westside to Eastside: Over 11,000 LADWP Customers Still without Power

Hundreds of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews are out in the field this morning trying to restore power across the Los Angeles. Citywide, an estimated 11,775 customers are currently without power, the department says.
Blacked out areas include 2,411 in Westchester, 1,679 in Hollywood, 993 in Silver Lake, 925 in Mar Vista, 879 in Los Feliz and 843 in Southeast Hollywood.
The hottest weather of day has not hit yet, so the LADWP is encouraging folks to conserve electricity when possible to avoid more outages.
Other outages throughout the city include North Hills, where 821 customers are without power and Cypress Park with 535 affected customers. Smaller outages have killed power for 393 customers in Brentwood, 372 in Bel Air, 356 in Mount Olympus, 349 in Echo Park and 317 in Cheviot Hills.
