OC Bishop Arrested on Charges of Child Molestation

A bishop from the OC has been arrested on charges of molesting a child in his congregation, reports ABC News. Bishop Oscar Perez Perez, 68, was taken into custody after the boy told his mother about an incident, the details of which haven't been released yet. It's unclear whether the molestation happened once or was ongoing, and the child's age also hasn't been made public, although authorities are saying he's under 12.
Perez is a bishop at the Old Catholic Church in Laguna Hills. He was arrested on Saturday night. According to L.A. Now, police are interviewing what may be a second victim, and looking into the possibility that even more at the church were molested.
Perez is being held on $100,000 bail.
