A man was shot and killed in Hyde Park at around 10:30 p.m. last night, reports CBS News. The victim, described as in his 40's and walking around barefoot at the time, was shot once in the head near Slauson Avenue and Deane Avenue. He hasn't been identified publicly, but those who witnessed the murder believe that he owns a business near where he was murdered.

The suspect allegedly walked up to the man, pulled the trigger and calmly walked away, taking off in a white car. Police don't have any leads on the shooter, nor any information about why the killing may have taken place.
