Murder-Suicide at Inglewood Optometry Office

A man and woman are dead after a murder-suicide at an optometrist's office in Inglewood this afternoon, reports the Contra Costa Times.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, allegedly walked up to the woman inside the Inglewood Optometric Center at about 11:00 a.m. this morning, pulled out a gun and shot her. He then retreated inside the business where he barricaded himself in until a SWAT team arrived, reports ABC News.
The team found him in a bathroom with a self-inflicted gunshot, and officials report that he was dead at the scene.
The shooter's victim died at a local hospital, shortly after being injured. It's not clear how the two knew each other, or what the motivation was for the shooting.
