City News Service reports that the incident happened just before 4:00 a.m. near the intersection of La Brea and San Vicente. The driver, a 25-year-old man whose name hasn't been released, was the only person injured. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition following the crash.
He wasn't being pursued by police at the time of the crash.
