A man suffered stab wounds after a suspect stole his PlayStation 3 game system in the North University Park area last night. Police are still in search of the suspect at large.

The victim, who is in his 20s, had gotten off the bus at the 23rd St. and Union Ave. stop around 10:15 p.m. The suspect was also riding the bus with him, got off at the same time, and asked the man for a cigarette. He then proceeded to stab the victim multiple times and then stole his game system, according to City News Service.

The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition. However, the Los Angeles Police Department has not released any descriptions of the suspect at this time.
