47-Year-Old Man Allegedly Caught Molesting 2-Year-Old Granddaughter
A Banning man was arrested yesterday after he was discovered molesting a 2-year-old child, reports CBS News.
The child's mother found Antonio Peralta Garcia, 47, committing a sex act against her daughter when she returned home to her apartment yesterday just before 2:00 p.m. She confronted Garcia and he left, but was taken into custody a few blocks away.
The girl is Garcia's granddaughter.
Garcia is being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on $1 million bail, and is charged with attempted oral copulation of a child under 10 years old and lewd acts on a minor. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
