A man died after getting stabbed in East Hollywood early this morning.

The victim was stabbed in the 1300 block of North Vermont Avenue at 4:35 a.m., LAPD officer Drake Madison tells LAist. He drove himself to a nearby hospital where he died from his wounds. LAPD Northeast Division Capt. Jeff Bert told the Eastsider that the victim was an Armenian man.

Madison says it's unclear at this point if the stabbing was gang-related.
