LA vs. SF Burrito War Rages On, Pizza to be Next Victim
After Pultizer Prize winning food writer Jonathan Gold caused a flame war between the two cities this week, LA Weekly has now highlighted noteworthy comments made on LAist and SFist. Among those noted is Orange County native and SFist Editor Brock Keeling sneaking over to LAist and writing "pst, your burritos are secretly much, much better." bennyinsf says: "I know a lot of people in NorCal and especially here in SF who would love for California to be divided into two states. If it were already the case, we'd have legalized same-sex marriage in NorCal while SoCal would have an embalmed Reagan [for] governor."
photola writes: "hey we are in the same state, let's not fight each other. instead we should be fighting new yorkers. now they have such shitty food they are known for their hot dog stands. taco trucks are much better (& cheaper)."
And we would like to point out tyson's observation: "LA food is tacos, not burritos. That said, SF can't make tacos for shit." That prompts johnny0 to reply: "Now if someone in California could make a decent slice of pizza..."
