Will a new traffic plan help Dodgers neighbors dodge traffic?

A new traffic plan for the neighborhood around Dodger stadium is in the works.
The L.A. City Council on Friday approved a transportation study to help residential streets jammed with cars on game days.
Judy Kameon has lived in the area for 30 years.
"It continues to get worse, which it seems like how is that possible? The stadium hasn't grown. But there's a lot of different factors involved that have contributed to making traffic much worse particularly in the last few years," she told KPCC.
Those factors include navigation apps that have directed drivers off major roads and onto smaller side streets.
Kameon recommends taking Metro into Chinatown and walking to the stadium for a faster journey.
Ticket holders can also catch free shuttles at Union Station.
