LA's recent bad air quality thanks to Santa Anas, fog and climate change
Air quality experts say the Santa Ana winds push the pollution from inland areas toward the coast, and the fog pushes that pollution down and stops it from escaping. And climate change encourages the hot, dry weather that smog loves best.
