Get your first look at the LA Rams at this free practice
If you want a first look at Los Angeles's new football team, head to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum immediately. The Rams are holding an open practice on Saturday afternoon and fans are invited to watch.
The Rams will conduct what coach Jeff Fisher describes as "a normal practice session,'' including special teams work. The practice will conclude with a 12-16-play "younger-type player live scrimmage,'' which will include tackling, something the team usually doesn't do in practice, according to Fisher.
Today's event won't just be the Rams' first public practice — it'll be the first time an entire NFL team has been at the stadium since 1994. That was when the Los Angeles Raiders lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, 19-9.
As part of Family Day, there will be a kids' zone with Rams inflatables and other activities.
Admission is free, but fans must register for a ticket in advance. Practice starts at 3 p.m. with gates opening at 1 p.m. Parking will cost $20.
