Certain types of mussels can survive, even thrive, as the climate changes
Climate change is bad news for our world’s oceans. The more carbon dioxide we pump into the atmosphere, the more acidic our oceans are getting, causing havoc to marine life. But a new study shows that mussels with certain genetic traits can survive and thrive in those more acidic waters.
